The first signs of spring have just brought a series of joyful branches into our studio. The first herald of spring and the emblem of Bloom Design Studio is ‘Chaenomeles japonica’ – the Japanese Quince. Its flower and the energy it brings to the ambiance are the most beautiful connection to nature, and thus, for many years, it has inspired the logo of this house.
The “Golden branches” as we call them, are a fantastic decorative item. Preparing the branches for a vase involves preparing water, which must be clean and cold.
First, it is necessary to cut the end of the branch at an angle.
Then, you need to “peel” a part of the branch about 10-15 cm from the end. You can also “bruise” it with any heavy object (we use a hammer) to slightly separate the ends of the branches so that they can absorb much more water, gathering everything necessary to remain in bloom for at least ten days. The branches can be taken in bud or bloom, and the preparation process for the vase remains the same.
It’s a perfect way to decorate your space, home, or office. Strong and sails. A color that affects happiness and gives energy.

The Japanese Quince is a deciduous shrub native to East Asia, particularly Japan, Korea, and China. It adds a special beauty to gardens, and it can be said that its “awakening” is celebrated every year.
As a tree, it bears fruits resembling small apples, which are used in traditional medicine as well as in cooking.
The Japanese Quince is relatively easy to grow and is often used in landscape architecture as an ornamental plant or as a living fence. It thrives in well-prepared and well-drained soil, is very resilient, and tolerates various weather conditions. In Japanese culture, it symbolizes warmth and affection.
